Antonio Esfandiari: The Magician Taking Part in High Stakes Poker Seasons 1 to 4

After making waves in huge international poker events, Antonio Esfandiari tried gallantly to stay on top of the competition by joining the televised series called High stakes poker. From season 1 to 4, he became a regular top contender for the show, dominating the games with his impressive skills and highly efficient poker strategies. Furthermore, his extensive background on the game has helped him earn multiple titles in different major events, including the World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour, and European Poker Tour.

While Esfandiari has been active in international poker tournaments for quite a while already, the year 2004 still served as his best in terms of overall achievements. In the World Poker Tour alone, he scored outstanding back-to-back poker tournaments, including a major victory at the L.A. Poker Classic Championship that was held at the Commerce Casino in California, closely followed by a sixth-place overall finish at the glamorous Celebrity Invitational poker tournament. Furthermore, he also has a total of five final table appearances couple with five money finishes.

Meanwhile, the biggest break of Esfandiari in the World Series of Poker also came in 2004 when he won the Pot-Limit Texas Holdem event, earning him his very first championship bracelet, which seems very elusive to him prior to that impending victory. While the various competitions at this major poker event have always been very tough, the one that he eventually won was no different from the rest. After two previous consecutive major wins at the World Poker Tour, he got his first taste of a World Series of Poker championship. Moreover, Esfandiari also racked up six money finishes, making him a certified winning player in recent years.

Besides the World Poker Tour and the World Series of Poker, Esfandiari made some impressive performances in the European Poker Tour and the Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament. While he has yet to win any championship at the European Poker Tour, he excellently made a single final table appearance to go with one impressive money finish. The final table appearance came in April 2008, where he made it to the EPT Grand Final that was held at Monte Carlo in Monaco. Although he finished only eighth overall, it was sufficient to earn him a hefty sum of money for that particular event alone.

At the Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament, Esfandiari joined the second and third seasons, scoring an outstanding second place finish during the latter season. With all these impressive accomplishments, his credibility and talent to compete against the best of the best at the various events of High Stakes Poker are beyond question. As a very young professional poker player, he has still a lot of championships and major victories that are waiting for him in the long run.
