Participants for the Second Season of High Stakes Poker

After an impressive debut year, High stakes poker followed up its initial success with another excellent season of high stakes and very entertaining poker competitions. While the first season was jam-packed with some of the best all around players of the game, the second season was no different, making the event once again a gathering of the biggest poker players in the whole wide world. Just as expected, a set of second-timers readily returned to mix it up with some of the newcomers of the event.

The set of returning players was so impressive that some of the biggest winners during the debut season came back to win more money, honor and prestige, as well as the right to establish themselves among the greatest players of poker. As one of the owners of the World Series of Poker bracelets, Daniel Alaei returned to the second season for some excellent poker action. After an impressive performance during the first season, he once again brought his winning strategies as he tries to put another impressive run.

Meanwhile, legendary poker player Doyle Brunson also returned for another exciting season, showing everybody else that he can still play and compete with some of the best players of the game today. Likewise, his son Todd Brunson came back for a chance to win more money and become one of the well-respected professional poker players in recent years. 'Mr. Vegas' Eli Elezra also suited up for another season of high stakes poker games. 'The Magician' Antonio Esfandiari also came back to compete as he tries to convince every one else that he still got something to pull out of his sleeves in terms of poker skill and talent.

That is not all, as there are still several outstanding returnees for the second installment of High Stakes Poker. Jennifer Harman, Sam Farha, and Barry Greenstein led the pack of hungry competitors who want to score more wins and improve their already impressive records. Moreover, Daniel Negreanu, Fred Chamanara, Ted Forrest, and Shahram Sheikhan complete the set of first season returnees who came well prepared to do whatever it takes to win more games as well as more money.

If there are many first season returnees, there are also newcomers who want to try their luck on the second season of this much-anticipated televised poker series. Players like Brad Booth, Amnon Filippi, and David Grey bravely signed in for the event, not considering the very tough challenge they are about to face from the returnees as well as their fellow newcomers in the game. Gus Hansen, John Juanda, and Phil Laak were among the proven champion veterans who are expected to dominate their less experienced opponents.
